MERL provides high quality, professional finite element analysis services using ABAQUS® commercial package. MERL's specialisation is in non-linear modelling (including large deformation, hyperelatsicity) defect and damage modelling, and complex component modelling.

Along with our materials testing services we are able to generate material models for client materials. With our component testing facility we can validate the analysis with test data or vice versa.

For life assessment, advanced fracture mechanics methods can be applied to predict failure in rubber components, structures with bonded joints and composite structures.
